IN MAY OF 2018, BRANDON STRAKA LAUNCHED AN EXPLOSIVE MOVEMENT AFTER HIS ORIGINAL YOUTUBE VIDEO EXPLAINING WHY HE WAS LEAVING THE DEMOCRAT PARTY WENT VIRL.
The mission of #WalkAway is to educate, inspire and empower Americas to #WalkAway from intolerance and societal discord; to leave identity politics behind; and to advance American ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all – united Americans across all demographics and walks of life to leave the left.
Brandon’s work continued to expose the weaponization of the justice system and sheds light on racial tension perpetrated by the media intended to create division. His work has been monumental in bringing awareness to the deception, gaslighting, and manipulation of mainstream media to wage a war against the American people.
Offering a fact-based education, Brandon has traveled to over 90 cities to hold rallies, offer town halls and debates, host events, visit college campuses, and deliver speeches. Brandon provides conservative commentary for numerous television media outlets including Fox News, News Max, OANN, Piers Morgan Show, and more; and is a regular guest on top political podcasts like Tim Pool and Redacted.
Despite attacks to destroy and hinder his work, #WalkAway’s mission has persevered. Brandon’s charismatic leadership and #WalkAway's message of unity and standing up against the left’s attack on American ideals resonate with people around the world. Because of Brandon’s work, a significant political realignment and culture shift has occurred. It’s not just every day Americans have left the racial left – prominent lawyers, public officials and pop culture icons are speaking out and leaving the Democrat Party in droves.
President Trump has publicly acknowledged Brandon’s success in organizing the first ever #WalkAway March in 2018 on Washington DC, with over 5,000 attendees. In 2024, President Trump publicly thanked Brandon when he shared Brandon’s latest video “Why I continue to #WalkAway?”, a sequel video to his first YouTube video explaining why he left the Democrat Party, that went viral surmising over 10 million views across various platforms.
Born and raised in rural Nebraska and now a resident of New York City, Brandon Straka continues to promote #WalkAway’s message and shares his desire to bring a new awareness and understanding to the reality of politics in America today in his mission to unify America.
